Within Matrix one can make edits to contacts or even delete old contacts that are no longer needed.
To delete a contact, one will need to access the contact list. From the Menu Bar, move your mouse over the Lists menu, and then select Contacts. This will display a list of contacts from within the system.
You have the ability to delete a contact directly from the Contacts list.
- Move your mouse over the contact that you wish to delete. A gear icon appears.
- Click the gear icon, and select Delete from the menu. A confirmation dialog box appears.
- Click the Delete button.
Note: Be aware once you delete a Contact it is permanently removed along with their historical data and will not be able to be restored.
To update a contact, you will need to have clicked on a contact name, either from the search box in the Menu Bar or clicked on the name from the contact list.
When a contact’s profile page is in view you have the ability to edit the details, including the address and social media links.
- Click the Edit the Contact button next to the contact’s name.
- Update the information, as necessary, within the edit dialog and then click the Save button.
