Deal Management - Projects

Access the Deal’s Projects

1. Access the Deal Management page by selecting Deals in the Menu Bar located at the top of any any page.

2. Select an account from the My Accounts list on the left

3. To access the deal’s projects, click the Projects tab, and the tab’s content displays.

Associate a Deal with a Project

Before you can associate a deal with a project, the project must exist. Your manager is responsible for creating projects.

Note: When you associate a project with a deal, you may only select one outlet for the project. If you have more than one outlet associated with a deal, you may add the project multiple times to the same deal (for each outlet). There also must be Pending on the Deal
1. Click the '+' (Add a Project) button. The Add a Project screen displays.

2. Complete the required fields, denoted by a red star. The required fields are:

  • Project - The name of the project. Complete this field by selecting the project’s name from the drop down list.
  • Outlet - The associated outlet. Complete this field by searching for the outlet. Type at least two characters in to the field, and then select an option from the list that appears.

3. Complete the optional fields, which are:

  • Status - The status of the project. Select a choice from the available options in the drop down list.
  • Month(s) fields - The revenue associated with a particular month of the project. The fields that are available will be listed as actual months, such as Mar(March), Apr(April), etc. The months that are available correspond to the Run Dates of the project, not the Run Dates of the actual deal. To complete a month field, type a figure in to the field. Do not use commas or dollar signs in the fields. They will automatically be added for you, once finished save the project.

4. Click the Save button.

Edit a Project

The following steps assume that a deal is displayed, and the Project tab is in view.

1. Move your mouse over the project that you wish to edit. A gear icon appears to the right of the record.

2. Click the gear icon and then select Edit from the list of choices. The Edit the Project for this Deal dialog box displays.

3. Update the fields, as necessary, and then click the Save button.

Delete a Project

When you delete a project, you are removing its association with the deal. You are not deleting the actual project.

The following steps assume that a deal is displayed, and the Project tab is in view.

1. Move your mouse over the project that you wish to delete. A gear icon appears to the right of the record.

2. Click the gear icon and then select Delete from the list of choices. A confirmation message box appears.

3. Click the Delete button
